Some hardware is supposed to disappear into the living room. These controllers would like a little attention.
Sony has announced the Prism Collection: transparent DualSense controllers and PS5 covers in Flare Orange, Emerald Green and Graphite Gray. US recommended prices are $84.99 for a controller and $74.99 for covers.
A controller you want to leave on the coffee table
Our pick from the pictures is green. It has enough color to feel playful without making the whole setup look like a novelty purchase. Orange is the louder choice; gray is for anyone who wants the see-through effect to do the talking.

Put two dates in the calendar
US preorders directly from PlayStation start November 10 at 7 a.m. Pacific / 10 a.m. Eastern. Launch begins February 4, 2027, with regional availability varying. This is a purchase to plan ahead for, rather than a controller to unwrap this December.
Before you buy the matching set
Give the controller a moment on its own before committing to a complete color scheme. A small splash of personality can be enough. And check the console model on any cover listing: matching colors are not a substitute for checking the fit.
